The conference “A digital era for transport: Solution for society, economy and environment” will take place in Vienna, at Transport Research Arena (TRA), at 16 – 19 April 2018 and will be hosted and organized by Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology, Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) and AustriaTech.
The main topics will focus on:
- How digitalization is transforming transport & mobility systems.
- Decarbonisation & future growth – how to change our mobility system & remain competitive.
- Shaping the new mobility landscape – a vision for transport & mobility for Europe.
The attendants will be relevant to transport affairs, such us transport infrastructure managers and owners, researchers, academics, students, engineers, traffic operation managers, public authorities, non-governmental organizations, transport stakeholders etc. They will have the chance to discuss and share information about recent findings - research results and innovation activities. Furthermore, they will look into application-oriented engineering and socio-economic aspects to policies and standards.
